The International Calella Folk Festival will be held in the beautiful seaside town of Calella, located on the Costa del Maresme, just 58 km northeast of Barcelona. This picturesque town is renowned for its blue flag beaches, which stretch across three kilometers of pristine coastline. During your stay, you can enjoy the charm of Calella's bustling streets, relaxed seaside promenades, and the opportunity to explore nearby Barcelona. The town's natural beauty and cultural landmarks create an unforgettable backdrop for your performances.
The International Calella Folk Festival is a vibrant celebration of traditional dance and music, bringing together groups from across the globe in a non-competitive atmosphere. The festival invites children, youth, and adult folklore dance groups, modern dance troupes, choirs, and other performers, as long as each group has a minimum of 10 participants on stage.
There are no age restrictions for participants, making this festival ideal for groups of all ages who are passionate about sharing their cultural heritage and artistic expression. During the festival, each group will have the opportunity to perform two to three concerts, and they can choose to perform with live music or pre-recorded tracks. The duration of the performances will be tailored according to the number of participants.
Participants will be accommodated in comfortable 3 hotels* in Costa Brava, with the convenience of being close to both the beach and performance venues. Accommodation will be on a Full Board basis, providing three buffet-style meals per day.
Rooms will typically accommodate 3 people with private bathrooms. Each group is entitled to two double rooms free of charge, available for leaders and drivers.

Transfers:
The festival organizers will arrange airport transfers for groups arriving by plane, providing transport to and from the airport and during the festival. Costs for this service will be arranged separately, depending on the size of the group.
Bus Parking:
For groups arriving by bus, the parking costs are the responsibility of the group, as parking rates are determined by the facility. The bus can be used throughout the festival for local transportation, but any incidents (e.g., accidents or breakdowns) must be covered by the vehicle’s insurance.
Payment Information
The final participant list must be submitted 30 days before the festival start date. Deposits are non-refundable after this date.

The groups should pay the travel expenses by themselves to Calella and back.
The groups coming by bus can use their own transport all the time during the festival and the small journeys around the city. Any expense caused by the usage of the bus (accident, robbing, breakdown, etc) should be covered by the vehicle’s insurance. Each member must have travel insurance policy.
The Parking for the buses is paid by the group at the rate set at the parking place. (approximately 20 euros per day).
The festival organizers will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from the airport, during the festival days, and back to the same airport. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed upon according to their number.
